Ma Petite is a fictional character featured in FX's American Horror Story, portrayed by Jyoti Amge -- the world's smallest living woman. She is a character exclusive to the fourth season, subtitled Freak Show, created by Ryan Murphy.

Born in the early 1900s, Ma Petite was born "Mahadevi Patel," descending from Indian heritage, and was leashed around and treated like the Maharajá's pet. She was bought out, or rescued, by Elsa Mars and recruited to her freak show, where Ma Petite was adopted by the pinhead, Pepper. Years later, Ma Petite became the victim of a con-man's money scheme, where she was killed and sold to a museum.

Ma Petite is known to be one of the series' more likeable and enjoyable characters, with her death and disappearance in Freak Show becoming a crucial plot point later in the series. For her performance as Ma Petite, Amge has received recognition for her portrayal, with the portrayal being her first major acting credit.
