The Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia ( Indonesian: Sekretariat Kabinet Republik Indonesia, also known as Setkab) is a government agency working directly beneath and answerable to the President of Indonesia. Its duties are to provide governance support for the president and vice president in managing the cabinet.
The Cabinet Secretariat is currently headed by Pramono Anung.
As stated before, the Cabinet Secretariat is tasked with providing support to the office of the President and Vice President, especially regarding the management of the governing cabinet. In doing so, the Cabinet Secretariat run several functions, as follow. [1]
The organizational structure of the Cabinet Secretariat is as follows. [2]
The Inspectorate (Inspektorat) is headed by an Inspector, and tasked with internal monitoring within the Cabinet Secretariat.
Centers (Pusat) are other subdivisions within the Cabinet Secretariat, responsible to the Cabinet Secretary via the Deputy on Administrative Affairs.
Special Staffs to the Secretary (Staf Khusus Sekretaris Kabinet) are individuals working directly under the Cabinet Secretary, tasked with providing counsels and considerations for the Secretary regarding issues not within other subdivisions' functions.
