The Afsharid dynasty ( Persian: افشاریان) was an Iranian [1] dynasty founded by Nader Shah ( r. 1736–1747) of the Qirqlu clan of the Turkoman Afshar tribe, ruling over the Afsharid Empire. [1] [2]
